Do you remember how the estates mechanic used to be 4-5 years ago? You had to assign provinves to your estates manually and could get a certain amount of mana points every 20 years. I love how the developers are working on this game constaintly and it gives me a lot of hope for EU5 and Victoria3.

32:58 I know at least two ways to increase crownlands with commands. If the country has parliament, trigger the issue that increase crownlands, and it costs a few admin points per parliament seat. Second one is involving events that increase crownlands like Liberation of Normandy for the French.

Ludi, I know you'll never learn, but they aren't crownlands if the crown doesn't own them. They are estate land.
Persia also has Qizilbash estate (aka Aswaran if you're Zoroastrian) and Ghilman estate. The latter one gives some strong bonuses for certain defensive styles of play - I genuinely LOVE playing as Persia but to be honest it's might not be worth it to focus on Ghilmans by the time you unlock it. Also glad to see in recent patches, especially 1.37, that missions can enhance privileges.

i would SO love an economy video, including stuff about trade goods too, and the effects so many different things, it is so not well explained in game without exploring like seven different menus and magically correlating stuff HAHAHA

Nice update, but you could mention the ways that you can remove privileges from estates despite them having more influence than loyalty. The monument in Kongo will allow you to revoke privileges, and there is also the tier 2 government reform "Puppet the Nobility" for Monarchies that will allow the same.

I loved eu4 the first 5 - 6 years it was out. I hate all the text that came with the estates, and many other things in the game. This helps a little.

Great video. Just wanted to say that the +1 privileges, although quite useful, aren't necessary for nations that starts with a gigachad ruler. Selling titles for buckets of ducets!

All of the ming estate's bonuses give corruption only while their land more than zero, few in the end still show corruption because you gave lands with governing cappacity bonus. Besides, some of their bonuses upgrades via missions. Still mandate system is hot garbage so playing ming is not the best experience imo.
