I would never have thought about rolling a textured bead to make a ring mold! So clever! And the rings are beautiful!

Been a long time, but so glad I found you again. You helped me so much with my Polymer Clay projects..I have just moved over to Silver Clay, & struggled a bit with the ring I made, without any real guidance..halving just watched your ring video, it was marvellous to see how you worked the Clay, & created such a stunning ring. I have now got a kiln, especially for the metal Clays, so fingers X, & look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work Very Best Wishes..xx

I always loved metal beads and it's because of their texture. Brilliant idea to use that same texture for the ring. You have the best ideas. So sorry the stone cracked on you. Some people like the crackled look in a stone. I hope you didn't throw it out. Have a great week!

Hi Sweetie..thank you so much for this amazing video! It is so very helpful to see how to do these rings. I have some silver clay, but have not been brave enough to move over from my polymer clay yet, but you have now inspired me to give it a try..I don't have a kiln yet, but I do have a torch etc, so no excuses for me eh! 😊🤔..Best Wishes..

So beautiful!. How did you change the stone after firing the piece?
@sabrahardy2 жыл бұрын
For one thing, if i print a round four prong mount for a silicone mold a.) I need a 2-3 mm round chunk to stuff into the hole 🕳 where the stone sits sooo i can mold the prongs and stone basket. Ultimately, if i press PMC into the resulting mold i'd be doing less filing around the prongs and stone wire basket. Say i have a band printed 3D in a see through celtic design i might need to double tape it down in an acrylic box and pour silicone to just barely cover so when i remove the 3D printer resin model i can have enough room for pressing PMC.

I needcyour help to take PMC a step further down the road ...I want to use 3D software make rings where the design goes all the way through. So for example to make a silicone PMC mold for a ring with a "see thru design or prong set stone aperture I would have to make a 3D silicone mold 6/8 around so i can release the PMC furthermore the undergallery and prongs must have a seperate sucone mold do you understand?
