@@georgehunter2813 Thats in the 16th century. When Tang dynasty also suffered from the rise of Qi Dynasty, which was an uprising by former Goguryeo refugees and general, Silla sent 20,000 men to Shandong to help quell the rebellion. When Russia destroyed Qing armies in Manchuria with muskets, Korea sent skilled gunners and defeated the Russians. But if course Chinese only bring up cases where China help Korea. Korguryeo kingdom had cataphracts before the Chinese, where full body of horse and rider were in iron armor. The Gaya confederacy in Korea invented iron plate armor in East Asia, before the Chinese. Korean bows shot farther and was still lighter than Chinese bows. Korean multiple rocket artillery Hwacha shot farther and more accurately than any chinese rockets. Korean 2 stage rockets flew 1 km, better than Chinese. During the Imjin war, Korean warships were bigger and carried more cannon and stronger than Chinese. Korea had gliders that dropped bombs on the enemy. First attack aircraft in the world. But its always China china china. To western people Asians look the same, so they are too lazy to differentiate between China and Korea, when they take extreme detail to distinguish between Poland and Hungary, Germany and Austria, Ireland and Britain, Portugal and Spain. Apparently British, French, and German knights are different but Korean and Chinese warriors are the same? There are only 3 frigging nations in East Asia, huge land and Westerners only see China and Japan. Tiny continent of Europe has dozens of nations, and they care about them all. They only care about Japan because Japan bombed pearl harbor. If Korea bombed Pearl harbor westerners would know more about the Hwarang order than they do now. If westerners cared enough they will see the differences in Asia too. But chinese always say everything come from China. I dont see chinese going on Napoleon war videos and claim gunpower came from china, so Brithsh congreve rockets and French cannon copied China. China only pick on Korea because Korea is divided in half and they think Korea is weak enough to pick on. China never pick on Japan even though until 1800s, Japan was always behind Korea. China wants to anmext North Korean territory so their government encourages historical justification for appropriating Korean history and culture. You have to approach chinese historical claims with this in mind. History should be objective, but when a communist country has an interest in using it for political purposes, it loses objectivity
