Ludwig Acrolite, 1967.

I busted my 1967 Acrolite out of the case this morning. It's been a while since I've played it. It's not nearly as sensitive as my Rogers Dyna-Sonic, but it has a fun, ringy tone. It's a nice effect. I'm the only only owner this snare drum has had. My parents got it for me when I was a kid.

Beautiful sounding drum and equally beautiful playing! I recently required a near mint 2010 LM400 and I’m loving it!

Hi Ed, That "ringy tone", is just the thing for a funk groove. Also, I wonder if you happened to see the link to a video I made and posted it as a reply in your aluminum drumstick video.
