How Maister has fallen hard. Before he used to be kind of a top 8 character. Now that game and watch has nothing else to offer, he cant make it. Riddles on the other hand, is getting carried super hard by Kazuya. Riddles doesn't quite win tournaments where real top players are and he is sitting roughly at 8th or 9th, but the fsct he wasnt even top 25 before kazuya tells you a lot.

@@fingolfin879 But with a Kazuya secondary, and some of his bracket demons had their fortunes reversed from not the Terry matchup, but from the Kazuya matchup. Kola was beating his Terry's ass, Spargo was beating his Terry's ass. But if you only have to win neutral a 3rd of the time, you can win more games.

@@christianokoye9491 He definitely did better with a secondary but that doesnt mean he's carried. That's pretty insulting to the amount of work he puts in labbing combos and grinding matchups. He got slapped by Steve and Dark Samus among others with Kazuya but worked on the matchup to overcome them.

Dude, he's playing against Kazuya with the 3rd lightest character in the game. You don't simply rush in on that matchup unless you have a death wish. If anything, I think Maister should have camped even harder when he had leads in this set. G&W has no strategic reason to approach Kazuya when he's winning.

In most cases, I think a camping playstyle is stupid and annoying, but let's be real bro, what other option did Maister have. You can't just rush Kazuya all the time. You have to be really careful and slow, especially as such a light character.

@@michaelnelson8618 GnW isn't usually a camping character. He is a character with a lot of impressive combo starters off short ranged aerials and throws without any real zoning tools. Closest one is Chef, which is alright, but you arent gonna usually be seeing a GnW player playing keep-away by spamming it.
