I think you underestimate how qualified Michael Reeves is and overestimate Mark Rober. They’re not too terribly far apart in terms of capabilities to figure out how to do stuff if they want to. Michael really just has a very unserious and not ambitious personality otherwise he could’ve decided to stick it out in college and scored a more “prestigious” job

The minimum is somewhere around 2000 it's more specific person to person right but generally it's 2000 calories and then your body begins to make up for the deficit by eating stuff starting with body fat ect eventually you'll start eating your own muscle tissue become weaker frailer and eventually die of starvation right but I mean you could theoretically say like cut down to 1500 calories a day and your body would eat you down to a size where 1500 would be sustainable depending on your size and metabolism ect but you would be thin have low energy you wouldn't feel great but yeah you seen the pictures of Holocaust survivors walking out looking like skeletons with skins that's what like less than 900 calories a day plus hard labor does to a mf over like 5 years if you survived it and didn't get sick from your immune system shiting the bed
