Getting coached by a legend was actually so good fir Lud AND Connor, clearly saw the results
@Dammittdannyy29 күн бұрын
DL is good, but he really shows his lack of jungling knowledge here. He gave Lud a bunch of shit advice, and then convinced him to drop Fid just as Lud was getting better at him. I wish Lud would go back the the Fiddler, watching him not make any progress isn’t really fun anymore.

this game is extremely complicated and they have simplified it a lot in the last few years but it's too complicated, yes you can learn the base game and the surface level of the game but there are so many little things that make the difference, fog of war mastery, all the wave management stuff, itemization+runes+champ synergy, all the mechanics a champion can do, timers, player attack move click, champion only toggle, matchups, etc. etc. these barely touch the surface, there is too much stuff, there is so much to explain, and information is generally gatekept as well

DL helped them a lot while he was there but his coaching style is basically telling people what to do and not explaining it that often. Great for good players who will understand why he's saying what he's saying but not great for players who dont have a grasp of the basic concepts as much

A good fiddle stick is nightmare to go against also doublelift mainly plays adc so idk how he can help you. Fiddlecan end the game with one good ult u just need 1 good ultimate.

I think DL just isn't that good at teaching stuff. Most of the time, he just commented on the play rather than analyzing it and teaching them game plan, win conditions, and things to do differently. Most of these things come naturally for him as a challenger, so he probably doesn't think about it.
@GMercer01526 күн бұрын
I personally thought DL had great advice for Connor, especially the first game. Teaching him when it's OK to die for the kill and focusing on wave control felt like solid advice that actually helped him snowball harder.

The worst programming teacher was by far the best programmer. My guy worked as a OS Engineer for x-ray machines before he got in to teaching. He was great for advanced later year classes, but he for the life of him couldn't understand why first years couldn't understand the difference between classes and methods, why you wouldn't be able to divide a variable which is cast as a string.
