@@bambii-_ it took me pretty much a year at this point to keep me on cooking shorts (not the flashy ones like nick divigiovanni and others alike, not my thing) and to this day it still gives me terribly made ai videos, ai voiceovers, freebooted videos, clips of shows i've never interacted with, and so much more. half of the shorts i get shown are things im not interested in at all and have never interacted with in the past either. tiktok is just so much better in that regard, it only shows me 1 irrelevant video out of 10 if not out of 20, while for youtube i have to insta scroll between every video i find interesting. i think youtube has been stepping up their game though, it used to be so much worse, but maybe it finally gave in that i actually like to watch people cook! who knows.

I mean YT Shorts are really only good if you're watching the shorts from people you already watch or you already have the algorithm tuned to your tastes. I reckon TikTok is kind of the same, but also even better for bumping into random content outside of your comfort zone.
