but ludwig with parkour races someone could just master a really hard course and be really really good at that specific course and wipe everyone they challenge bc no one has ever done it before. but with parkour battles you can build your own attack in retaliation to another attack. also you can yield in parkour battles but can’t yield in a parkour race. it is a FORCED death match with no escape

Evbo did change it so dying means ranking down, he says that he limits the totems of undying because he doesn’t want people dying a bunch and never ranking down, which doesn’t make sense unless the consequence of dying is ranking down. Also it doesn’t matter anyways because the villain had already gotten to the command blocks before evbo got back to civilization, that’s how he got rid of all the buildings, so he changed the rules to make death permanent again.

True,,, but it's human nature to want something fulfilling to do that brings you closer to your goal. The obvious answer is to practice parkour and strive to be the best at parkour -- but not everyone would want that becquse people are different and want to work on different things. There were already jobs people had to do in the previous system that could be improved/modified to fit evbos system - I think being able to choose which job to work on would be the first change, and then in return having certain perks like better food? (I'm not sure about that, but you get the idea.) Some possible jobs could be: - A parkour farmer that is in charge of the animals and crops and stuff. Even if food is infinite, it isn't as good as the food grown with proper parkour etiquette (lmao) - A parkour teacher. This one has a lot if merit. - Parkour builder? Obviously the parkour champion makes the buildings and stuff, but there could be special people that focus on building parkour jumps others need to practice. They also install them into their house like in the original. - Parkour healer/support. Remember how the guy saves evbo as he falls? Some people could use that to save their friends so they don't have to restart from the noob level. Not sure if it would be illegal but yknow. There are some others but honestly i think I need to stop procrastinating on my physics homework now. Enjoy this block of text

Heh. The "final message" was good. I personally prefer the first Parkour Civilization movie over the second, largely because of how much this relied on parkour courses that were just obstacles in the way with little narrative weight. The second definitely hit a couple highs the first movie didn't, but I found the first to be more "iconic", if you know what I mean.

I think the main problem with a parkour race compared to a battle is that you can't forfeit mid parkour race, but you can with a battle. Just because you lose a battle doesn't mean you die. Lose a race you die no matter what.
