That was actually so fucking smart. He didn't even have to use his own fame to sell something. He just capitalized on the market. Although he ended up losing money, if he would've raised prices of hoodies or just generally optimized his prices, that would've been a hell of a dub.

Wait I'm confused, I live in central/western Europe and I wonder, because I don't buy hats, what does a hat cost normally? I mean a good quality one (never bought from Shopify so no idea whether they even stand near the quality alley), not one put together by Chinese kids and smuggled in by Bangladeshi kids to avoid taxation.

@@Kasiarzynka Right and the free shipping on top of that it is fair price, definitely not egregious IMO

Considering he lost money on the hat order, I'd say he's charging a pretty fair price.

This was the start of the *Twitch self-promotion era*
@zac68764 жыл бұрын
There once was a man named Ludwig Ahgren, who was King of the Streamers. He had subs, viewers, and primers beyond your wildest dreams. Before they cancelled him on Twitter, these were the final words he said: "What if I made money off of self-promoting donos?" Ever since, streamers from all over the world started self-promoting, searching for profit, the only thing streamers care about.

@@chromso He at no point shows us that the streamers know its him and he actively shows us that he is hiding his identity.
