Absolutely love watching these, I'm a Leeds fan but I was only very young back in the 1970's so It's great to see all this footage and what was going on back then. Brilliant! hope there is some more.

These films are brilliantly done and open up so much history of the late 70s. Well done bud! MOT

Great stuff! Thank you. God I hope we stay up this season. I started supporting Leeds in 1973. This would be our shortest spell in the top flight if we went down. The Leeds I grew up with were only relegated once (not counting the Ridsdale horror). Then the Wilkinson era had its highlight. We should not be in the predicament we're in at present. I hope some truly motivated people take over the club & invest sensibly again.

Been a long wait for this instalment. Thanks! We still had a decent team, gutted when Jordan then McQueen left this season.

Yep, 80p to stand on the terraces. Even taking inflation into account, that's only about £6 in today's money. Today's fans are being robbed blind, and they probably don't even realize it!

Fantastic stuff, great to have the series back again after so long away! Brilliant footage as usual but strange to have two commentators in the same match, Newcastle away. Kenneth Wolstenholme and Martin Tyler? I know Wolstenholme worked for Tyne Tees after leaving the BBC and Tyler was the Yorkshire TV commentator. Could they have shown the highlights in each region using their own commentators? Never seen the Man U footage before either, looking forward to the next edition.

SettingSon79 Well spotted. Had to source the Newcastle goals from different sources. Still didn’t manage to get all of them.

I was a Leeds fan from 1968 then season ticket holder in the 70s, then left to go abroad in 75. Now I am back in England since 2005 and don't watch mens football, preferring to watch the women - of Man City.

If we get into the premiership for next season, will you do another series about how long we've been out of the top flight. There's lots of things to cover from spygate to January 3rd

2:07 All seater stands - noooooo! The beginning of the end for the traditional, authentic football experience. I think Bolton did something similar with the Lever End around this time. Jimmy Hill was a big advocate of this sort of thing, which doesn't do much for my opinion of him!
