The part where you said Luffy isn’t known for holding grudges, remember that Luffy recruited the man that beat up Usopp, stole the Going Marry, and caused the whole dispute between Luffy and Usopp. Then there’s Bellamy pre-timeskip and post timeskip.

^^^^ Luffy does hold grudges I will show you some examples below this is a long series. 1. He trained to punch the sea monster in episode 1 for eating shanks arm 2. Didn’t want to release Crocodile in Impdel down for what he did to. Vivis country 3. After the time skip it’s shown that he still has beef wig fleet Admiral Akainu over Ace . 4. Last but obviously dude got real beef with black beard over Ace and now possibly his grandfather , friends etc.

​@@Supersteam09 Luffy does holding a grudge. Luffy fought franky in galley la because he's holding a grudge. And later in ennies lobby, Luffy still mad at Franky when they meet again. The reason Luffy forgave Franky is because he helped him to saved Robin. As for Bellamy, his sin already been paid when luffy beat him up and their crew returning the golden bird. There's no reason for Luffy to holding a grudge against him again

​@@truffle6082 Luffy usually doesn’t like people but a grudge is like extreme hatred. 1. I don’t remember if he was spiteful towards the sea monster. I remember he was training to master his gum-gum pistol. I don’t think it was clear if the punch was for Shank’s arm 2. Luffy didn’t want to release Crocodile, and as a pirate he had no obligations to release him. It was the idea of Ivankov and his assistant to gather as many allies as possible for the prison break to be as successful as possible. Luffy was still able to work along side Crocodile, Mr 3, Daz Bones. 3. I don’t think Luffy met Akainu after the timeskip yet. 4. He did wanted to beat up Blackbeard in Impel Down but it was cut short due to time and at Marineford, Luffy was more focused on saving Ace. I don’t think he met Blackbeard after the timeskip either but he was passionate about the Flame Flame fruit and how he didn’t want anyone else to have it.

My only prediction for the upcoming chapter is that Luffy will have no choice but to accept Loki’s offering un order to learn more about Shanks, which may result in reuniting with the crew, as well as the New Giant Warrior Pirates who are after them.

A devil fruit isn't always a pure power boost with many coming with intense downsides and/or is resource intensive. Getting Loki's devil fruit would also make him the king of Elbath which is right in line with Usopp stumbling into a situation far beyond his intended scope. Ussops greatest strength is how creative he is in every situation he finds himself in. Without knowing that the power really is it isn't set in stone, but having a devil fruit that would allow that creativity to be utilized to its fullest would no more ruin his character growth then Nami still having Zeus even after Big Mom's defeat.

The wolf from Norse mythology fenrir was not attacked in the middle of the night in stealth mode but rather buldur was playing with him and tricked the wolf into biting his arm and then the rest of the lower case gods jumped in to chain him up while he was preoccupied bitting onto buldur’s arm thus an arm was sacrificed to chain up the wolf Apologies I may have spelled the wolf’s name wrong and it might have been some other lower case god that sacrificed his arm but it was one of odens sons

Thor's belt also played into his wielding the short-handled Mjolnir of myth. That said... I can see the belt actually laying a role... for Usopp wielding it with a mighty thwak. Actually, the gauntlet needed to wield the short-handled Mjolnir of myth due to the heat released from its head, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a magic gauntlet that Usopp will gain access to that will make the size of the hammer feasible (especially if the representation in the series is the sledge like handle behind Loki)

Lowkey been having a theory lingering in my head okay so what if shanks is working for emu and was ordered to recover the nika fruit but failed to return it to emu because luffy ate it so as for punishment he needed to sacrifice something(arm) and the reason y emu needs it is because the ONE PIECE can only be open/obtained with the powers of the nika fruit so shanks decided to let luffy live unlock the power and that’s y he has never gon for the one piece but is now ready since luffy finally unlocked gear 5th Ik it’s a Lot but if this would happen it would be fire tbh
