Ju Peter could be a Mongolian Death worm, its a cryptid that comes out of the Gobi Desert. Its know to have acid spit and be able to swallow a camel in one gulp. This cryptid is believed to be the inspiration for the sand worms in Dune.

The full reveal of the Elders was the first actual single-panel doublespread since the sake cups of the Grand Fleet. That was chapter 800, released in WSJ 2015 Issue 43. We went 9 years without a single-panel doublespread, insane to think about. Even more baffling considering how many big moments we had in WCI and Wano, some of them should have been single panel spreads: Gear 5, Kaido's and BM's defeat, some environmental establishing shots for WCI and Wano, etc.

The cleanest spreads that come to mind past chapter 800 are Zuensha's trunk in 821 during Zou, some scenery establishment shots like in 909 and 910, as well as the Kuma punch against Saturn just a couple of chapters ago. I actually reread parts of the series regulary and at one point I noticed that single panel spreads were getting EXCEEDINGLY rare. It's probably because One Piece has way more information density and plot to get through in a chapter these days, but Oda stopped doing them in favor of the layouts mentioned by others. Sadly, i think the lack of single panel spreads greatly reduces the impact of many good moments that could have made good use of the extra space on the page (see my initial post). I really hope that since this is the final saga, Oda will actually give us single-panel spreads again for the big moments.

I'm absolutely convinced that the broadcast originates from somewhere other than Egghead island, potentially Baldimore. Seeing how convinced they are that nobody can stop it, just makes it seem like they realise that if anyone were to try to stop them, they would assume they need to do so on Egghead, so the Vegapunks made sure to broadcast it from somewhere else. There are quite a few circumstances that can be viewed in regards to the giants power level back on Little Garden.. Those two had spent the past 100 years battling with each other three times a day, an even match up exchanging blows back and forth. If you think about it, those two were probably exhausted back then, worn down from nonstop battling. What we are viewing now are a fresh Dorry & Broggy, armed with fresh weaponry and a new, better purpose to their actions. Also, people need to not take One Piece powerscaling so seriously..

The Mari Lwyd is wild. They come up to your house and request entry via song (sort of). The way to rebuke them is to make up reasons why they cant enter, likewise in song, upon which they find another reason they need to enter and this goes on until one side runs out of reasons and/or imagination. If the Mari Lwyd wins, they are entitled to a meal and some ale. You are essentially rap-battling a horse skeleton and if it wins it gets to eat your dinner and drink your booze.

Ethan's demon form looks like a Nucklavee, which is known as the most malevolent of all demons of Scottish folklore. Especially in his hybrid form. Nucklavee are also known as the Devils of the Sea, so that might be why Oda went to Scottish folklore. It is literally a true Sea Devil.

Bakotsu (馬骨) is literally "Skeletal Horse", and is basically the idiom "bones of some horse" (どこの馬の骨とも知れない～) represented in a mythical yokai form. The idiom refers to basically "some schmuck that came from nowhere" and still widely used to this day. Bakotsu is a ghost of a horse that burned to death in fire. Ironic that OP version seems to have ice powers. Bakotsu is generally depicted facing a toad yokai called Yadomori.

I dont think its been said yet so I'm going to drop 2 pieces of sword trivia about this chapter: First, regarding what is likely the Shodai Kitetsu, it is likely not a black blade. We see Nasjuro doing blade maintenance on it in chapter 594, and we see that it is not a black blade. That was 2 years ago in the story, but I doubt anything that came up in those 2 years would have cause him to create a black blade if it wasn't already done. The second is that there seems to be an error drawing Enma, and the guard looks like Shusui

I have a theory that the five elders somehow reached a state beyond regular awakening and have permanently fused with their fruit powers. It would explain their insane regeneration since even regular awakened zones are known for their healing prowess. It might even be how they are able to teleport using the same phenomenon that allows devil fruits to appear in a new location when their owner dies.

Tbh with the Gorosei all showing up in Egghead, it’s way less likely for any of the revolutionaries to show up there. If and when they find out the Gorosei have done the unprecedented and left Marjoa, they’ll prolly take the opportunity to storm the place. There’s less weight to it without anyone guarding it past the Holy Knights (and Imu) but it makes sense. I really don’t see Dragon caring enough about Luffy to bail him out from the Gorosei but maybe there’s a slim chance Sabo could show up

Ok so about the Pell Comment... what if we take that to mean bird over flying ability. Monet doesn't count because she modified herself. Pierre doesn't count because he was already a bird with the horse devil fruit. Stussy and Batman both turn into bats which are mammals, not birds. Tho we need also think about the aftermath after this win. Vegapunk's message might be successfully transmitted. But they still need to do something with this situation. If anything, I can see the 5 Elders might be even more dangerous after that. Once they failed to stop the message, I bet all they want to do is to bring pain and suffering to the Strawhats who prevented them to stop the transmition. So Luffy and co still need to deal with these 5 old men before they can continue with their journey. They need to either defeat those old men, or they need to escape.
