5:22 : The way the animators made the transformation of Luffy into G5 was on point. He punched his chest as a drum (Drums of Liberation) 6:40 : Here again the animators surprised us by not following the rythme of the song behind. Luffy attacked before the end of the song in background that surprise also the song itself in a way (That's why there was a silence). Really good play from the Studio. 9:45 : it's a reminder about guards of Impel Town who had their devil fruit , zoan type awaken but they were like zombie or like pure animals. Here Lucci succeded to keep his humanity in the awaken form.

okay to be fair to the devil fruit in alabasta you're talking about mr 5 and the thing was he can make bombs out of his body hes just a creepo who likes flinging boogers. also the way i interpret what vegapunk is saying is that he's making the assumption that collective desire or dreams distill down into a tangible product (a devil fruit) that allows for that wish to be realized. if haki exists and can break physics (armament, future sight, etc), it's the next step that such willpower would also influence the individual's desire- the stronger the will/desire the more likely it is to manifest. idk i'm very dumb.

6:45 i know u was shook how fast gear 5 actually is btw in the manga lucci was using observation haki in that moment just to show u how fast gear 5 actually is if u look one sec away or u dont use ur full extent of observation haki luffy will connect a punch so fast just like he did with kaido. ( u need atleast future sight or a good mastery over observation haki to even counter punch G5)
