I remember when I was a kid it took me and a friend like 3 months to beat the Master Jelly. Crazy to see it done in 46 minutes.

Klasse Run 👍 Schön zu sehen, dass mein Lieblings Spiel aus der Kindheit noch ein wenig Aufmerksamkeit bekommt. Schon unzählige Stunden in der Ahnenhöhle verbracht und macht immer wieder aufs Neue Spaß. Bist du der TraViktox der auch bei Speedrundale zu sehen war?

Genau der bin ich. Freut mich auch, dass Leute noch Interesse an so einem alten Spiel haben, den die Ahnenhöhle ist sehr gut gealtert.

So I assume this is RNG manipulated? Otherwise how come you skip so many chests & only pick up certain ones? Just curious. Also wondering why you would ever want to do that on the early floors since those are the ones that have a chance to get the really good items like stones and such right?

no, this is not RNG manipulated. I grinded this game a lot and still try to go for WR, so it looks like good RNG, because PBs always have good RNG compared to an average run. Some notable reasons for opening or skipping chests: - deadly rod starts at F5 and yeah only until F9 there are rings/stones, but the first few floors only have good spells, not enough for me to waste that time. - dekar blade starts at F15, easily the most important item for the jelly. - at 50 there is old sword and lizard blow and at 60 is myth blade, so when my time is bad, I try to skip chest from around 30-50 and then hope for good chest RNG, thats what you need, when you go for that kind of a time. I would not recommend skipping chests, only when you aim around sub 1 hour.
