I have killed the jelly ONCE during my childhood. I always loved this game. The story was amazing. I especially loved the music. I am still hoping for another Lufia game :)

Technically, there are six Lufia games. One is a mobile title with just the ancient cave and one is a remake of Lufia 2, which you probably know as just Lufia. That was the best game of the series, though, so not sure if you want to go out of your way to check the others out.

It has one of the best endings of an RPG ever. Definitely play the whole thing if you can bust out the old console/some alternative. Worth your time, definitely.

So there are two deadly swords in the cave. One has the description of something like "the power of deadly sword turned into a sword" and the other says "an ominous looking sword". The first one does not have the ability to instantly kill, the second one does.

Only a couple hours? You lucky fucks xD. I mean I am doing a no rng manipulation run now but speed isn't happening... Actually I wanna see if I can deck EVERYONE out in blue chest gear. For whatever reason during my first trawl (down 95 floors worth before I ran into a treasure room full of dragons and noped the fuck out) I got a bunch of shit jewels like catfish jewel. Also stuck with only one Mirak plate (which men CAN wear) unlike Ruse Armor.... Apparently Lexis is slow but the best non ZAP caster out there too as far as armor/weapons/hp/stat curve (except agility) and Arty is, of course the ONLY character that can cast Zap and Fry (I really LOVED having those two show up constantly in red chests.... NOT!)

Just real quick: the idea that red cores escape battle 75% of the time is incorrect. Or at the very least, it depends on where/when you encounter them. Just now I was trying to level up a bit to win my first encounter against Gades to get his blade for Guy and I encountered 31 of them, all of which ran. Anyone who's mathematically illiterate might say I was just unlucky, but if you do the math you'll realize that the chances of that happening would be 0.013%. In other words, practically impossible. Therefore, the blanket statement of cores running 75% of the time is incorrect.

Its a visual glitch that happens in the eng version of the game. Whenever you use l or r to switch characters in the equipment screen some characters from the previous party members equipment will show up on the new members equipment. This happens both on official hardware and on emulator. No need to sling insults~
