Our journey today begins outside Terminal 5 at Stockholm's Arlanda Airport. We enter the terminal and head through security, and head to our gate. It isn't long before our aircraft arrives, Airbus A320 D-AIUF. We board our aircraft and before long we're pushing back and taxying to runway 19R. We make a beautiful departure to the south, seeing a lot of Sweden's great scenery as we head towards the coast at Kristianstad, Sweden. We make the short hop across the Baltic Sea to Germany, crossing the German coast near to Rostock.
We continue on our southwesterly heading towards Braunschweig, before commencing our descent towards Frankfurt. We make our approach to runway 25L touching down smoothly and on time. The captain announces that we have to park on a non-Schengen stand, therefore we will have to get a bus from there to the Schengen part of the airport. We leave the aircraft via the rear stairs and board the bus, which takes us across the airport getting up close to a lot of parked aircraft. We enter the terminal and head towards flight connections.

Hey Branden, that's awesome! 1) Yes hopefully but it may be a while as it's an expensive flight 2) I used to but it took over my life so I had to quit :( 3) ATC - depends on the flight. Usually I get the ATC from LiveATC or GlobalTuners so don't have to worry about it. When I record onboard it's different - I spend a few weeks tracking the flights and linking back to all the AIP documentation to try and get the frequencies for each sector, then I store them all in and flick from one to the next. Usually it's mostly accurate but not always and sometimes they use weird frequencies I didn't know about. 4) Not yet (crosses fingers) apart from where I've had a late connection and they've bumped me onto the next one. I have come extremely close a few times though - the closest call was easyJet SXF-LTN, we took the wrong train and got to the airport 10 minutes before departure. We flew through security and they were just closing the gate when we got there, but they let us on anyway and closed the doors behind us :)

Oh WOW. That's a very close call for a flight. I remember in 2016, the Manchester to Zurich flight was delayed. Once you got to the airport, you had to run for your next flight to Luxembourg. The closest call I had was when my first flight from LGA > DCA was delayed. Once we got to the gate, we had to run to our connection flight to CAE = Columbia, SC. Luckily, they haven't closed the doors yet. But we were the last ones to board the bus to the aircraft.

@@MD-vt4pq If you ask them to ask the Captain, they flight crew almost always says yes and might even invite you to the cockpit to the film after the flight and talk about aviation. While the flight attendants can be a little stuck up, the pilots are awesome.

Yes I do, I live in Nottinghamshire, UK! I get a lot of flights in but I only do filming trips once a month max, and usually for just one day. I'll sometimes get 4-5 flights a day in over the summer period, but then I don't really fly over the winter period and take a few months off filming, but still releasing the videos I've filmed over the summer. Hope this helps :)

That sucks, whereabouts are you where you can't take photos? In Europe it is mostly fine, they just don't like you taking photos through the security area.
