It’s always warm and sunny in San Diego, we have a very Mediterranean climate, it is so helpful to intentionally notice the seasons changing. I’m so envious of anyone whose leaves change!

When we lived in Monterey in the 90s, we used to joke that the only way you could tell it was summer was that the grass turned brown… even here in Germany, I find it pays to observe seasonal changes because they happen so fast! Happy Lughnasadh to you

I walk to and from work everyday and i wouldnt mind it being a little bit cooler. Triple digit days are lovely but so hot and melty. Sunbathing nude would scandalize my neighbours and my grass is non-existent( the drought killed it). I do have a lovely wild hill in my backyard that I can climb though. I do love a good nap usually with my cat curled up in my lap purring. One of my favourite things is late summer monsoonal rain storms. I love to go out in them and dance around like a crazy person. I've done it since I was a child and I get funny reactions from both adults and children in my neighbourhood.

I love early summer mornings and after sunset when the fireflies come out. An idea for cooling off is to take a bath at temperature 85f/29c. It's cooler than body heat so cools you off, but when you get out the temperature difference isn't so extreme that you feel hot right away. This is for people that don't have a lake to skinny dip in, lol!

As a student who spent mooost part of June on exams it all seems like madness to me! I love this video, though I started it feeling a bit guilty that I’m one that is definitely looking forward to fall. 90% of the suggestions are nearly impossible for me living in Florida where it’s 98f with 95% humidity- and I’m very sensitive to the heat. I think I get the winter sadness in the summer, I’m inside air conditioning more than outside. Im also in love with nature and being outside, so summers are physical and psychological torture! In cooler months, Im barefoot, picking plants and flowers, camping, fishing, foraging. I just live in a place that doesn’t suit me! I’d rather be in Alaska!

I love your channel. Your channel is what has inspired me to get into witchcraft. I didn’t know cottage witchcraft/hearth craft was a thing and found it really resonated with me. I usually can’t wait for summer to be over because winter is my favorite season, but this definitely helps change my mindset. :) Also, I just got my first deck of tarot cards. I’m just starting to make an altar at the hearth of our home - right in the middle of our table. I live with my husband, my 1.5 year old, and our little dog. All I have are a few candles I already had. A deck of tarot cards and some candles. I don’t know if I can call myself a witch, but I’m excited starting this journey.

My husband and I drove three hours north past , about an hour and a half past Duluth Minnesota on the beautiful shores of Lake superior two weeks ago and we slept in a tent stayed Saturday hi Jerome Sunday came home Sunday afternoon and sleeping in the tent. Wow, this video is so full of ideas and summerly vibes that it makes me wanna jump up and do stuff. I love your videos, they are so motivating, informative and fun. I have already planned my August when I have free time after exam season and star gazing as well as bat watching is, among other things, on the list. I already have autumn calling me too. Every year when the fruits of the rowan trees turn orange, it is like autumn is taking its first steps, whispering of its near arrival. But as much as I love it, I want to live in the moment and enjoy what I have around me now. So I am going to do the things on my summer bucket list first and when my brithday comes up at the 22nd of August, I allow myself to start prepping for autumn, too.
