TPCI really should implement a first search allowed to check prizes. Saves so much time and should help with less ties in theory.

Or you could just be better. I played back in 2008 when the game was much harder and there was nobody reorganising their deck to check for prizes. People just prize checked and were done within 15-20 seconds.

@zippo_muk9254 It's not about "get better noob" mentality. It's about the betterment of all parties involved. Less time searching means more time actually playing the game and getting to make decisions that impact the game and moving the tournament along. Everyone can play memory but that doesn't mean it should be a relevant part of the game.

@@Azrael71109 memory should be relevant. It’s a skill that you should have. Or players could not cheat and not reorder their deck and not take minute long deck searches. This is all part of the game. This is what makes it harder

@zippo_muk9254 It is not cheating to move cards around and then sufficiently randomize your deck after. If your argument for keeping the rule the same is only "because it makes it harder" then you have missed my point entirely. Ptcg doesn't need rules because it makes the game harder. Let the players focus on what matters in the game: tactics, strategy, resource management, and out maneuvering.

@@Azrael71109 prizing is a tactic. It directly effects all of your moves and players not managing prizes or knowing what’s prized is their own fault. Reordering the deck has always been illegal. It’s literally cheating and is in every other card game. The judges don’t call it anymore for some stupid reason. It’s so easy to cheat when reordering deck. A lot of players do it which is why it’s banned in every card game. Players should be able to tell what’s prized within 20 second deck search. If they can’t then that’s their problem. Besides you continually search through the game. And recheck what you have. 2012 worlds final was a dumb player who got lucky and then forgot he prized something and lost. That was his own fault because he was greedy and didn’t think. Players should be punished for not being good.

Why isn't the Zard list playing Collapsed Stadium? It avoids the very scenario of having the two liabilities in place (Lumi + Rotom)

IMO ideally the Zard player would be trying to take first turn from Lugia if they know what they're playing. Lugia doesn't mind going first or second because of Carmine.
