Lugum Leik I Hallingtakt (H. Brimi)

Just starting to get my fingers round this monster of a cittern which has found its way to me through many twists and turns of time, intentions, and geography.
Here's a tune that's come out of the woodwork while it's settling in to its new life here in Devon. This tune came to me from the wonderful Swedish band Den Fule, and seems to be attributed originally to Norwegian fiddler Hans Brimi.

That's the one, originally built by a bagpipe maker called Nigel Richard. Paul did a great job of getting it back into playing order!

@@LouisBinghamMusic It certainly sounds more of an instrument than I anticipated. Well done to Paul and the original maker. It sounds very full and with plenty of bass. It's well balanced across the range too. Great shtuff, there now... H
