This is the best video I have ever seen of the J20 very clear and up close . It’s hard to say how deadly this plane is until it actually sees combat but it sure looks the part . The silver grey paint looks gorgeous on this plane . Being an aviation geek all my life I suspect looking at this plane that it is a very lethal interceptor with lots of room for internal long range missiles. I would Imagine it could be used as a bomber as well because of the size and internal bomb bay . It appears the frontal stealth should be similar to a F22 and frankly the nose section looks very similar in shape to F22 . It’s hard to say how well it would do in a close in Dog fight but those canards and powerful thrust vectoring should enable it to turn and burn with the best of them . The air display so far of the J20 and J35 are not that impressive but I remember early displays of F22 and F35 were lacklustre as well so probably holding back on what they are really able to do .

emm，多年前的消息说J20的蒙皮并未采用涂层，而是一种超材料（Metamaterial），深圳一家相关公司被军方收购后便销声匿迹。也因此它显得尤其光滑，质感与众不同。 至于正面隐身的修型设计，升力体机身几乎都是如此，倒三角剖面。而隐身设计的原则是尽量以平行面、平行线构成机体，将雷达波“镜面反射”到一个狭窄的区域，从而使发射源方向看不到回波（相当于你站在镜子侧面，用手电照射镜子）。所以从技术角度，这是设计上必然的雷同。实际上该理论是由苏联人在50年代提出的，但落后的计算机无法控制这样的飞机，直到80年代美军F117才将之付诸实践。
