3:29 For those who don't know: Thomas in a man who was trapped in Mario's Body (very similar to what happened with Alan (Tails' Body) and Lucas (Luigi's Body)) As a Fun fact: Sophie is the sister of Thomas who is a vengeful spirit after a tragic accident (similar to sarah henderson from needlemouse vhs and/or Lilith from eric animations which both use the body of a character to be a vessel], besides that she uses a vessel on a body of a character like luigi (Another Fun fact: This game is inspired by sonic pc port, mario '85 and too late luigi)

I’m guessing Thomas killed Sophie by pushing her off a cliff (don’t know if it was by accident or intentional) and she began haunting the game in the form of Luigi until she manages to kill Thomas at the end
