Since King Boo is "The Master of Illusions", it'll be obvious that this Final Boss is an illusion that King Boo created from Luigi's fears to battle him! I mean, Luigi probably is scared of Bowser if he isn't with Mario & the place you battle King Boo & Bowser is the roof of the Mansion itself! I also think that the illusion is only inside the paintings as a nightmarish prison for the people trapped in them!

TwistedMetal Mikey I remember my first time beating the original game. It took me a few weeks to get to the final boss, and another 2 hours just to freaking beat them. Heh, I still remember my reaction after finally capturing King Boo. I was so freaking happy, and I ran out of my room screaming, "I FINALLY DID IT!!!” Multiple times. I ended up getting a B Rank, I just needed 2mil G to get an A Rank.
