Not true. The mansion blacks out after Boolosus, meaning you got a second chance to find the Speedy Spirits in rooms you missed.

Area 1, there is one in the anteroom on the far left cabinet. The second one in the master bedroom by Lydia. In Area 2, in the bathroom where you get the first key to the ball room in the sink, the next one is in the butlers room in the far right. Shake the water pot. The next one is in the conservatory by the xylophone, shake the music stand. And the room where the electric fuse is, shake the barrel next to the table. I’m about to start area 3 so I’ll come back if I find them. I know that there is also a speedy spirit in the cold storage in area 4. Hope this helps

U can get all gold mice u missed when theres the blackout. But speedy ghosts sadly not, the blackout only lets u get the speedy spirits that are only appearable during blackouts. There are 3 of those i think, u could look up the lists online like i did, i still missed just 1 speedy spirit i think sadly :( its the one in the study, i actually did get it, but then died on chauncey (i think its the only time i died so far on this game, and it was a close match. i died mainly from all the damage b4 chauncey shrunk me loool cuz i didnt know how to hurt him for awhile lol, and after i died i then didnt get this speedy spirit and then realized i permanently missed it! And it had a red jewel too :(

So long as you haven't spawned them yet, with the exception of the Breaker Room Speedy Spirit and the one in the Billiards Room. Those two have to be caught before the blackout. If you spawn one and fail to catch it, it never respawns on that run unless you exit without saving.

If you catch Slim, that’s it. It’s gone. The only way to get it is to find him BEFORE catching Slim. Otherwise, you have to start a new save file and try again

Dang! I got all Speedy Spirits and all cheese but I missed 2 Random Gold Mice. I Also got all 10 Blue gems all, 10 red gems, all 11 green gems, all 5 silver diamonds, both gold diamonds and both red diamonds. I got every ghost and gold framed everything under 5 minutes. I 100% THE GAME BUT MISSED 2 RANDOM FUCKING GOLD MICE. AND I CAN´T REPLAY BECAUSE IM NOT REPLAYING IT BECAUSE IT TOOK ME DAY´S. Some ghosts disappear when flashed and some continue on. From what I've seen tere doesn't seem to be a pattern to it. I dunno if that was true for the original or nah.
