Quick fact: What people now know for being a “beta game over screen” was never a game over screen. It was just extra footage added to the trailer to entice people to play the game. The scene was never even in the files of the game.

good point, but you forgot a small detail, in the game files there is an inahen with this same version of sad luigi holding a flower, which could say that at some point in the game this version of luigi was going to appear, I guess We will never know when we will see it like this

Yeah I can’t believe Nintendo changed it a lot because it was going to be a dark horror game for kids and small children so they decided to chance everything to make it more family kid friendly and not sareh besides this game should be rated m for mature and not rated e for everyone and also Luigi couldn’t save Mario in time and then he dies after depression when the time It’s 6 am like fnaf where you survive the night at 6 am

I remember that stuff, but honestly even though I wasn't really around for the GameCube and that stuff, I still kinda wish it was a bit darker like it showed in the beta, because rn with it being normal it still has dark meanings if you think about it anyway

It was proven actually over 11 years ago what happens is the timer was literally a timer for the demo and once it reaches 1:30 e gad (called e gad with one d in the beta) and calls to tell him that he is happy with the ghosts and takes him back to the lab and the game turns off back to the title screen

I can't believe people think these common ghosts look scary and the next games ghosts are goofy they both look goofy this is just fans of the first game making a case off of nostalgia

I can say as someone who started with Dark Moon that it's not just nostalgia. It's the way that these ghosts were executed along with the whole game that makes them stand out as creepier than their sequel counterparts. (Also, the LM1 ghosts are more angular in design while the sequel ghosts look rounder. That could also play a part.) The first game, in general, just has an aura of creepiness that the sequels don't quite replicate, and it shows in areas like the ghost enemies

The Luigi's Mansion Movie (A spin-off of The Super Mario Bros Movie by Illumination Entertainment) voice cast (It's just a concept) : Charlie Day as Luigi Tom Kenny as the Professor E. Gadd Mark Hamill as King Boo (King Boo's voice could be similar to the Joker's voice) Chris Pratt as Mario Keegan-Michael Key as Toad (Because Toad (and many other Toads) appears in the original Luigi's Mansion games) ??? as the other Boos (About Mark Hamill as King Boo, I was thinking about casting Jim Carrey or Willem Dafoe as King Boo but I think Mark Hamill fits perfectly as King Boo.)

No wonder I had nightmares of LM1 Luigi’s scream and that beta Luigi scream animation at the very beginning.. I would have these nightmares where I was playing Super Smash Bros Melee, and every time I ran out of time after the announcer said “Time”, Mario would do the beta Luigi scream animation with Luigi’s LM1 Scream as it zooms inside the mouth of Mario.. like it does with Luigi.. Absolutely scary..

É uma grande diferença do primeiro jogo para o segundo, acho legal a ideia de um jogo de terror com o Luigi, mas eu acho que a ideia de enfrentar um bebê que morreu prematuro numa mansão que saiu de Resident Evil e outras cenas acabaram fazendo dele um jogo exagerado que ninguém liga pra jogar, gostei que nas sequências eles mudaram colocando um visual mais Cartoon e colocando um humor mais divertido, deu tão certo que no terceiro eles mantiveram o estilo do segundo só mudando as aparências dos Chefes. Até o King Boo mudou, no primeiro ele era uma versão genérica do Bowser, nas sequências eles ficou mais detalhado com habilidades únicas.👻

The first one is an all time classic and nobody better at me on that one! But the next 2 games while they are both great they dont have that scare factor the OG game had cuz they werent developed by Nintendo themselves but instead by Next Level Games who made the next 2 games like I said before. And they basically made it more kid friendly especially with the new boss ghosts and thier designs while the OG ones were more scary and had a certain charm to them for me growing up. But rumors are going around of Nintendo themselves making Luigi's Mansion 4. Also Splatoon 4 is supposedly also in the works as well. But time will tell :)
