If the gigaleak is any indication, Nintendo definitely still has the assets (in addition, the WarioWare: Get It Together minigame has some of the beta furniture assets used, fully confirming that they still have the beta somewhere)

My one complaint with this restoration is the music doesn't get slower with low health. That is something that was seen to happen in beta footage. Other then that, it literally looks like a perfect recreation. (Edit: Also there's no opening cinematic, but that would be very hard to recreate.)

The ghosts also weren't color coded like in the final. Basically, in the beta/alpha, any ghost could be any color. That would have been so much cooler if they kept it.

yes. It reminds me of Dead Rising, but it would more realistic form Luigi´s POV to be done as quickly as possible. It would´ave been cool if it remained, just a longer timer to keep us stressed but also to allow us to enjoy

Honestly, those ghosts look better in this version. They look more graphically impressive than the ones in the final game. I also really like the music this version has for when you clear a room. Way creepier than the final game.

Luigi mansion was originally set to be on like a timer system like Majoras mask but was scrapped before the original release.
