You’d think lats would be less likely to tear considering how strong the muscle and tendon are, but i guess it happens

I know this is the wrong video, but I figured this might get a response. McKenzie Milton did his first interview since his injury last month and said he had to give himself “shots in the stomach” everyday. Any idea what he was injecting himself with? Blood thinners maybe? I got no clue
@BrianSuttererMD5 жыл бұрын
Yep, blood thinners. Most likely one called enoxaparin. It's intended to treat and/prevent blood clots. Usually given twice a day to treat and once a day to prevent. Most everyone in the hospital gets it too just because when you aren't mobile your risk goes up

Hey man I’m currently having pain in the lat like u stated in the. I don’t know whether to go get a mri. I’ve had this pain for 3 months now after it hurt I rested for 2 months then through again and the pain continued. I just got to college and I don’t want them to cut me because of my injury. But every time I try to throw hard it feels like I have a knife going through my lat. Should I ice it, rub it out, take a lot of pain meds? Or should I just go to the doctor? Please help

Sorry to hear about your situation. Did your pain get better? Have you seen a physical therapist or an orthopedic surgeon?

I don't know about the armpit, but the bicep could be a bicep tendonitis

I have an upper lat train right now from excessive rows and postural overuse… Easily mistakable as a rotator cuff injury or even a back injury!!! it really sucks especially with breathing. Thank you for you content. The difference in performance based on surgical intervention is extremely interesting for those who avoid operations… cheers

Hi, I recently had a ski injury where I wiped out and landed on my back/ribs. I was out of breath for about 2 minutes then got back up. Since then, my lat/upper back right side has been hurting from twisting motions or extending my arms up above or ahead. Is it a tear? My ribs also hurt in one spot

Throwing a baseball is very unnatural for the body
@oakleyjacket79225 жыл бұрын
AAron that’s what makes 100+ MPH pitches even more impressive
@Dev5185 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by unnatural? Humans are the best throwers in the animal kingdom and our overhand throwing ability was probably developed due to pressure from natural selection. The ability to throw a rock or a spear at prey made human beings and our ancestors more successful hunters. The only unnatural part of the act of pitching is throwing an object tens of thousands of times a year with many of those throws at max or near max effort. The human body is definitely not evolved to handle the repetitive motions in many sports.
