I made this fold style of signature with my grade one students over 30 years ago. How delightful to see it come around again in such a fun and cute way. This junk journal is adorable! 🤗🇨🇦🤗

Like? I adore this grungy, sweet little journal with all its nooks and crannies. I feel I am a little insect crawling amongst the wildflowers. Sometimes I hang upside down and get a whole new perspective of my wild world. I love Barbara's pages too.💗💗💗💋💋💋mwah mwha!

This turned out to be a great grungy journal. I like how you took the upside down pages and made them "intentional".Love the pages Barbara!

I have kept journals for years. (since I was a teen!) And I've written upside down, sideways, and in spirals etc. I doodled but never at the junk journal level. You have really inspired me to go outside my comfort zone! Not too far b/c I might get lost! Lol! I love what you do. TFS🤗

Louise I love the way your mind works! Although my preference is more for “pretty”, you come up with most amazing ways to use ephemera and including so many interactive features to your journals! Amazing!

I absolutely love this journal, Luise. I agree regarding the upside down pages. It doesn't matter that they're upside down I think it just adds to the whole effect and the unexpected. 🌷

Hi Luise: That is the cutest, coolest, grungiest journal! You are so incredibly creative! Love the way you cut into the pages to hold the tiny ephemera pieces. So clever. I don’t think anyone would notice the pages that are upside down, unless you point it out. I think it adds to the journal. Barbara’s papers are beautiful and really worked well in this project. 💜😎🇺🇸

Absolutely gorgeous and I love your thoughts on the upsidedown parts. Life goes upside down a lot. But if we can free ourselves from believing that it always has to be a certain way, we find the beauty in that upside down part. ❤️

I love this mini journal. Luise! It's really great. I had to look up Kladderadatsch. "Crash, bang, wallop" or "What a mess!" Lol! So funny and appropriate. I like the up-side-down pages. It's scattered and tossed like a salad. Lol! In the sewing community, there are fabric prints that have things going every which way and they do call them tossed. Like tossed farm animals or tossed ice cream cones or tossed tractors. It's just made to look like you tossed the items into the air and they are scattered about. It's easier to sew an item when the fabric prints are tossed so that you don't have to worry about the direction when you are making something. I love Barbara's prints as well. So beautiful.

I love this junk journal and all the cute little tuck spots that you created by cutting the background paper! I didn’t see the upside down flowers as a problem either b/c you hang flowers that way to dry/preserve them. Also love the idea of journaling upside down too! You’re so amazing 🤩 🥰

Another masterpiece. I love Barbara’s pages and what you did with them. This just proves we both could start with the same papers, same instructions, same rules. Still ends up completely different. I’ve been playing with a lot of Tim Holtz Butterflies. And I seriously loved the way you folded the butterfly around the end papers and stapled it down. So fun and unexpected. Thanks for sharing your talents with us again.

Nice creation, I love the size! I was thinking about the 'upside down' concept on pages.... some things like, plants, veges, butterflies, bugs, flowers can look fine upside down! Others not so much.... In this journal, the size/scale of ephemera does add cuteness to some of the grungy details - like tucking items into a ripped and distressed opening on the page!!

Lovely! The reason people are saying this is a zine (correct pronunciation is zeen as it's basically mini indie magazine - it's a slang) is because this is a zine fold. While the content is not zine content (usually more like a comic), the fold is a very standard zine fold.😊

Hi Luise, unfassbares Teil.
