OMGosh is correct... WOW! Everything - beginning with the receipts, then the coffee, then the copies & variations, then 'painting' the coffee cup to make the picture.... OMGosh... just everything! Well done Ms. Luise. You never cease to amaze me with your creative ideas and inspiration. Thank you.

Holy Moly! Now you are creating with your coffee cup! It resembles the coliseum. Sorry, I didn’t know you were creating 🌳 🌲 trees.

Oooh, I just love this! I save my receipts (and all other scraps) from my trips too, but I hadn't really worked out what to do with the receipts. Thank you for this wonderful inspiration! It's really great too to see the trick with the coffee and the heat. Ganz toll. Yet another awesome video from Luise! Also, I am SO HAPPY to hear that there will be a Dephemerember 2023. I was starting to wonder if you would be up for it again--I know it's a ton of work for you and Barbara. I'm just delighted you are up for it, because it was so much fun last year. Danke!

You are completely bonkers. Love it. I don't drink coffee, I hate it, don't even like the smell especially when I have to make it for my sister. But I love the smell of roasting coffee. Weird. I don't mind coffee cake if I make it, but I put Baileys in the cream cheese frosting and boy! Wow! It was so good.BONKERS.

It is always such a blast to watch watching you be creative . Love the idea of making a master board with thermal receipts. Also, the manipulating the remainder of coffee in the cup was quite original. I may have to do this with a nice rich cup of coffee, especially in front of my toddler granddaughters, showing them another way of playing with their food, kind of like creating a mountain from mashed potatoes with gravy running downhill. (Gramma is a great influence, aye.). Thanks, Luise.

Another fabulous video Luise. I am always amazed that you come up with something new every time! I decided recently that I would make background collages with all my receipts and had done one page when you put out this video. So I was all set to use the heat gun on it, what a great effect even though I didn't crumple mine on this page. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring! ❤

This was a great journal card-pocket Luise! The collage of the receipts reminded me of an aerial shot of a European city from above, with all the streets irregular and crooked. But also the cup reminded me of the Colosseum too ! So the whole card is like a view from above of the Colosseum, right? I love what you did with the hole punch to make a frame around the edge. I too liked the version on the right. Great share! thank you! ❤

I swear, the spoon handle you created your coffee cup art with is the same silverware pattern I have been using every day for over 40 years!😮You didn't happen to "keep" it or write down what it said on it...or take a picture of it...did you? That would be fun to find out it was the same.😊 Anyway, I really love your finished pieces, also preferably your English video one. The contrasting cream colored tag seems to make the pocket stand out better. And I really love your white splatters on most of what you make! I feel like maybe part of the reason your white splatters work so well on your art is because of your grunge style...and the contrast the two opposites create. I'm definitely no artist and have zero education in art, past high school art class 50 years ago.😄 Thank you for all of your hard work to bring us your entertaining, educational, and inspiring videos! It is truly appreciated! 🙏🌞❤️

Fantastic! I have several large bags of receipts I have saved for art projects. I wonder if the thermal paper changes in appearance or gets brittle or gives off chemicals over time? Good reasons to make photocopies! Makes me rethink using them for snippet roll bases. Will they go black over time? Will they disintegrate and let go of what they are glued to if used as snippet rolls or cluster bases? In the early days of thermal paper (before photocopies existed), the paper often got very brittle over a short time. Seems better now, though. Hmm. Love your video!

I love the look of receipts but have read that 80% of receipt paper contain toxic material. BPA and BPS are in all thermal receipts at extremely high levels and some articles suggest we not touch them 😩
@teresazuehls783 Жыл бұрын
I have heard that too. I think if you wear gloves while working with the receipts that would be okay.
