Where was PJ, in la la land? We got him for his defense? What about Gafford? Landlord? Not this game. Also any defense that was played with Zach Zarba as ref was called a foul, just go watch the tape. Also offensively, where did Kyrie go? Just a poor overall showing by the team. I hope Luka can take off a little body fat and trim down just a bit. I think he’s disciplined and not irresponsible at all. I’m sure he’s worked on his body and conditioning. It’s just genetics. But I do believe looking at him he can change his body a little bit the way Kevin Love did. Less stress to his body and injuries will mean even that much more success and dynamic play for him. @@purplesky4157He still always had a thicker lower base than your average long legged player. I do agree however that he needs to slim down to his year 2 or 3 body. He was much quicker but he was also growing strength. That could help him greatly on the other end but also on offense. But if he doesn't slim down in some way I fear he might get in that nasty part of his career in his mid prime where he'll have to join a younger promising guy who projects very well like Wemby to collectively take him over the hump. Again if your mavs fan you want them to figure this out but contracts are always a tricky thing.

Honestly, im proud of the mavericks. The Celtics were just ready for this moment. Better defensive rotation and play making. Luka is tough as nails playing with an injury. The mavericks lost their first finals appearance with dirk in his generation of hoops. I hope this motivates dallas to Want to win a championship in the upcoming future. I commend everyone who was a part of their team for going in. Unfortunately there are trades the mavericks must make. I honestly think luka should’ve won this years regular season MVP. His game is reminiscent to James Harden. Being born and raised in Texas, i love that our hoops are going in the right direction.

Luka has some really promising upside next season. His team made the finals. He can hope for better health, improve his conditioning, improve his defensive focus and avoid stupid crap with referees. Derek Lively will only get better. So a team that made game 5 of the finals can easily get better. I'd be pretty positive as a Mavericks fan.

Luka carried them from 5th in Western conf to the finals but no one stepped up. Luka had the best numbers on both teams. He cant do everything. He led PPG, rebounds and steals and 2nd in assists. When you barely have 3 double digit scorers to celtics 5 no one thought Mavs would do anything in the playoffs let alone make the finals. The Celtics were favored to win all season, and the Mavs were out of their league; you can't pass the blame on the best player in the series.🤷‍♀

Luka magic ain’t injured that injury is nothing but not serious is just a normal issue like others you can tell his mobility and motor motion on the court while playing! He is injured and was playing 80%. You all see how good he is but are facing the fact that this white Euro dude is better than your idols and it scares the hell out of you. That’s why you don’t give him credit and try to tear him down. Yet no one stopped him in the series and he still led in PPG, rebounds, steals and 2nd in assists. And you have no idea how much pain tolerance he has and has been playing through the pain for awhile. And of course the Celtics were a better team, literally no one is contesting that. Celtics were favored to win while the Mavs were 5th in Western Conference while Luka carried them all the way to the finals. AND Celtics have 5 double digit scorers while the Mavs barely have 3. Luka was best player in the series hands down!
