People don’t understand how fucking big Luka is, he can absorb hits and you can’t see how hard he was hit because he’s so big and I think people don’t understand that
@is0morph7 ай бұрын
That's also where his frustrations with the refs comes from, I think. Just because he absorbs so much contact, doesn't mean he doesn't get fouled. SGA was hands-down the best player in the Mavs-OKC series, but man... the whistle that guy gets just because he's (relatively) skinny is insane. If Luka would get 1/2 of the foul calls he deserves, it'd be even harder to contain him, like almost league-breaking. I hate his complaining, though.

The main reason I pull for the Knicks now is Jalen. GM Donnie Nelson Jr. got the Mavs -- Luka, Brunson and KP -- and then was fired by Mark Cuban. Cuban did the same thing with Brunson that he did with Steve Nash, refused to match an offer, and lost both of them for nothing. Mavs could have re-signed Jalen way BEORE the Knicks offer. Now the Jalen signing looks like one of the smartest contracts in the NBA. Brunson taking the high road and defending his old Mav's teammates is exactly what I would expect from him. Cuban dumping Porzingas to the Wizards for essentially nothing is ironic now that he's going to win a ring with Boston. Give the Mavs credit for adding Lively, Washington and Gafford -- and making a risky Kyrie trade. That got them to the finals this year. But Mavs lost Brunson and KP for nothing -- so it's one step forward and two steps backwards when Cuban is making the decisions. KP about to get a ring LONG before Luka does. And I wouldn't be surprised if Jalen and the Knicks win a championship in the next couple of years either. I feel sorry for the Mavs and their fans (not the owners) but they actually overachieved this year -- and it would be shocking if they come out of the West again any time soon. Too many good teams in the West on the rise. Good luck to Jalen and his Knicks team in the East.

@gryphoncroat he played better defense and didn't spend all day complaining to refs...that was the difference. Lead by example and good things happen... Luka is not immune to criticism, he needs to be called out when he's out of line, tired of you apologists. When he plays like trash we will call it out, when he plays good defense like he did tonight he gets credit it's that simple.

Luca should have been picked as the MVP, because . . that dude got that team --filled with the Bad News Bears into the FINALS. Could Jalen Brown have done that Could LeBron? NOOOOOOOOO!!! Only Luca could achieve this 8th Wonder of the world, and this is how he did it . . in Game 4: Luca had Pattern Recognition . . . he realized the Divine Curtain--his light pattern-- and donned it . He realized the 'A' (the MVP--the magnetic vector potential of electro magnetism) received the current and became the divine light pattern . . in common parlance, he got into the ZONE; and he enabled others to don such a curtain with him. Now I say this boy is the Green-Curry combo because like Green he is the team's spiritual leader and then he maneuvers like Curry--But Curry knows not how to enable the other players to take on his pattern--his curtain. This all boils down to Luca being one in a billion and unfortunately they lost game 5 because Luca was tired and could not find his pattern and no one else on the team is capable of mirroring him into that state-of-being including their lack luster coach. If only they had one of those Real Madrid Spanish coaches to provide the lightning strikes like Carlos Alcarez's coach--not Juan Carlos, that older dude in black who gives him the fist and the eye--Carlos would not be where he is without that guy. LUCA IS THE MVP . . one has to be a perceiver to get this!

I think it's time for the NBA to look into investing in AI based officiating with use of robots powered by AI. These refs are indeed subjective and miss a lot of close calls.
@larrybrown98837 ай бұрын
Lol.....Luka is doing exactly what he's scripted to do. Good Lord anyone with two functional eyeballs and a grain of common sense can see these games are completely controlled for particular outcomes....specifically the most profitable. These players are performers of entertainment and their salaries alone provide them everything they could ever dream of. Im a sports junkie, well had been, and I've watched live sports for more than 4 decades.... ALL professional sports and they have become literally unwatchable because of the obvious tampering. Vegas has always had a hand in the games, pun intended, but with legalized online betting their greed has overwhelmed any sense of at least a shred of legitimacy thy may have had and it's become an overwhelmingly obvious shit show for unprecedented profits. But NONE of this could or would be possible without the masses of brain dead sheep eager to toss their money away for an illusion.

Doncic whines to the referees more than Lebron - after Doncic walks/travels, carries the ball, turns over the ball, and pushes--off more than any othef player.

He didn't play well and that's fact. If had played like the previous series, outcome would have been different. (I didn't like the cussing and foul language) People like winners. I bet he lost in the trials because they have him figured out. Wilt could score 50 points and lose the game because they shut someone down. He played too many minutes and played hurt. His bench sucked and coach didn't adjust.
