He didn’t disrespect the military. He is an artist. He doesn’t need to be respectful to establishment or the government. He only needs to be true to himself

Sir, I agree with all of the comments regarding Lukas. He is a patriot and meant no disrespect to our military in any way. My brother was there & I understand your emotions. However his comment was for the idealism of peace and love and in no way intended to dishonor these soldier’s service. ☮️💜

I love this little baby boy up there walking around with that guitar and everyone as natural as pie, patting him on the head and keeping an eye while the jam continues . Whos child . Little Feller just wants to in the band. Wink.

Lot of legacies 'carrying on' the greatness of their fathers, but two of my personal favorites are Lukas Nelson and Ben Haggard. Both are incredible guitar players with their dad's vocal gifts and excellent musicianship. I'd love to see the two of them collaborate sometime in the near future.

You're Never too Old! I just went with a big group from- Sr citizen , disabled, 1 in a wheelchair, me 43 my 23 yr old son, his girlfriend and a couple of our other friends. There was everything from little children to 90+ there. Great Show! Hope he comes back an plays Chattanooga again! So much better than Nashville or Atlanta for all of us in GA who hate the traffic is my only complaint lol. Just Go! You won't regret it! They have ADA seating at almost every event and venue! Willie's picnic is on my bucket list but only if Lukas and POTR is there an love to see the Particle Kid at least once 😁

I wonder if this guy ever saw the mess that the Hippie's left at Woodstock, or if he even understands the fact that they ( the Hippie era ) Disrespected our Military Personal coming back from Vietnam and many regret that now. I grew up in that era and the new Hippies such as this guy have no clue. We all care about our planet, this is nothing new but to refer it back to the Hippie era, is really just a way to make money with his music.I mean really, Willie he is not! He's just okay.

It was the era of the best music there ever was! Lukas and POTR are very talented and were Neil Young's back up bank. Lukas taught Bradley Cooper how to be a star on the stage for A Star is Born, and wrote 8 of the songs. Some hippies cared about love and peace, like Lukas. Sorry for your bad experience coming back from Vietnam.

Lukas is relating to an energy generated from the hippie movement; the best anti littering campaign the USA has ever had. Look up Keep America Beautiful on KZbin. The hippie time was about free movement expression but it was during a time when ALL society wasn’t in tune to how liter damages all earth and life. Out of the mess came a solution. Now here we are in the Pandemic; the littering issues in full force ( check out Santa Paula Canyon CA). IT IS TIME for a new ANTI LITER CAMPAIGN!

First, very sorry about the Vietnam thing- it was a mess of a war with no winners ( there are no winners in war imo). I too grew up through the sixties. What the Sixties, Woodstock, etc. were about was an idealism that the world could be changed to be a better place. That music could be used in a powerful way to influence society. There was a sense that one should do something meaningful with one’s life, other than accumulating wealth and things. The music was about a philosophical view, a political view and a world view. The artists such as The Beatles, CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, etc were serious about what their songs were saying. ( Contrast that to what songs say now- buy stuff and hook up). However the word “hippy” is used it’s really about living a life consistent with ideas of equality, peace, respect for the environment, and the willingness to call out those in power (whose primary objective is an agenda which primarily serves to benefit themselves at all costs). Honestly, I don’t think Lucas ever has to worry about money, and I’m sure his statements and intentions here are as pure as they come.

Thank you for your service. It was very misunderstood. The hippies were against the Vietnam WAR. NOT against you.
