My Christian Neice (with an education degree) and her Christian husband decided for her to leave school teaching to educate their 2 children at home. My Neice has to follow the guidelines for the city they live in. But she is also able to teach from the Bible as an additional course. The kids love it and mind the Teacher and are well advanced above the school levels. They have a great church also. Blessed ❤

The "little ones" does not refer to children directly but to any true deciple who is new to the faith. They can be young or old but are marked as new believers. The weighty punishment is reserved for those who cause them to stumble and depart from true and sound teaching and thus, fail to earn salvation.

Sorry, I disagree. God refers to His children as those who follow Him humbly in faith (Matt. 10:40-42). Offense in Greek means to slander or to trap. The English definition is to maliciously gossip, causing someone's reputation to be ruined. The millstone represents someone's ability to make a living. It was against the law of God to take someone's millstone as calateral for a debt (Deut. 24:6) So, Jesus is saying if you slander one of God’s kids and cause them to lose their reputation as an employee or believer, then it would be better for you to be drown for that reason but will be worse if you don't repent. If this was about kids, why would Jesus say if he sins against you seven times a day and repents you are to forgive him?????
