In Luke 19, Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem as the Messiah and the Passover Lamb, beginning the grand finale of His life: death on the cross. As we look at the story of Zacchaeus, we learn that all of us are short in stature, spiritually speaking. We're also challenged to faithfully serve the Lord, and we study one of the Bible's most intricate prophecies about the end times.
This teaching is from our series 42 Luke - 2014 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

The dualities of Jesus Christ are difficult to reconcile with the moralities of modern society and the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament. I have read the holy bible from Genesis through Luke and struggle with the contradictions and lack of understanding of the natural world that the bible possesses. I began reading the bible to strengthen my bond with God and the Lord Jesus Christ, however the more stories I read from the bible the further from faith I fall. I often recoil in horror when I learn of the actions of holy men through out the bible.

Let the message of the cross be central Joe and look at the rest of scripture in the light of that.

@@rysloan Christianity is the antithesis of morality. Christians try to use fear to control and subjugate other people. Pull your head out of your ass.
