@@hunaif_7 I think they might because of the way that it ended. I think he'll get reinstated if he's so chooses. Because he told her in the beginning that he was doing it for his father but when he got there he was doing it for himself. So I think if there is a part to you will get to see how they are as a married couple and each having their own careers and possibly at the end of that having kids (as it is mentioned by his brother's wife a few times how good he is with them) settling down (we never actually got to see them live together) maybe touring the world and doing marathons. I mean it's clear at the end that they did stay married but we never got to see what held beyond that for them. We also didn't get to see much of the relationship between his father and himself.The author hasn't written a second book so for right now I don't think there will be a second movie until she decides to make a second book or the equivalent of. But the movie did extremely well because of their chemistry the probability is high that there will be a second one if they will choose to do it when the time comes.

This movie’s love story was intense! You know in the beginning they’re both attracted to each other but because of their differences, they’re too stubborn and proud to admit it. They both don’t fall in love easily, but when they do fall for someone they fall deeply like they’re THE ONE. They have to overcome the awkwardness of not knowing each other and get comfortable being seen at their most vulnerable. But I think that’s what makes this love story so real and so relatable. 😭❤️

hangover is strong with this one for sure, I watched it when it premiered on Netflix and still that chemistry gets me everytime i remember it to this day. I love that the title says so much also, I mean Purple Heart is a medal if you're injured on the battlefield like Luke was, and so was his father, that's why its in plurar. Also medal for injury with "hearts" in the name seems perfect for this movie, cause relationship with his father and with Cassie was broken at first. You can interpret it how you see fit, but that's one of the best Netflix titles to this day that I've seen
