When I was 21 I was in the Army. Really thought I was going places. Then I got hit by an IED in Bagdad, received a brain injury, got dischatged, and I've been fighting with the VA ever since. That's been 20 years ago. I've been a child support slave the majority of my adult life, got two college degrees and can't make any money. I feel worthless most of the time. My life sucks now. Just goes to show that whatever you're doing in your early 20s isn't necessarily a good indicator of how your life will turn out.
