nobody could of played the part of Lane Frost better then Luke Perry !!! The movie would of never been a hit if it wasn't for Luke Perry like Tuf said in a interview. Luke died way too soon &he will forever be missed

His performance was so underrated I feel he deserved a lot more credit, It's really a shame because a lot of people probably view this movie as a bull riding movie when it was a love story

Luke was such a good actor, it’s too bad he never quite got the roles he deserved. Seems like such a nice, down to earth guy too. Gone way too soon.

Rest in Peace to Luke Perry (played Lane Frost), Red Mitchell (played Cody the cowboy poet), James Rebhorn (played Lane's dad), Carrie Snodgrass (played Lane's mom), Ronnie Claire Edwards (played Kellie's mom), Goerge Michael (playing himself), and Director John G. Avildsen...

My heart still hurts when I see Luke on video and then I remember that he is no longer with us I feel the same way about seeing Patrick Swayze its been so long since his death but its still hard to believe they're gone but thank God they will still live on through their work in the movies.

I honestly never had a clue who Luke Perry was until I watched this movie & to see him on here, wow, he's the same off the screen as he is when he's on it & his personality was so similar to the character he played, gotta give it to Midwestern farm kids, grounded & humble :)

8 seconds was an amazing movie. Luke did a great job portraying Lane. They both had similiar lives. Both farm boys, kind men, and charming. They both would have been good friends in real life if they had crossed paths before their successes. No doubt.
@chadbinette32012 жыл бұрын
The real life Tuff said the movie 8 seconds would of been a disaster without Luke Perry in an interview a few years back. "He's riding for lane" still gets me choked up seeing it a 100 times. And the western genre is dead? Yellowstone is one of the biggest shows on TV right now. The western or old west is more of a fantasy today with the population and cities and so on, so fantasy and people will always be intrigued with fantasy.

I haven't watched this movie for a long time. Ever since I found out how much of it was fake. Lane frosts life had enough interesting things. They didn't have to make stuff up like Kelly and him cheating on each other that was total horse shit.
