If Luke's arrogance hadn't gotten the best of him, he likely would've gone down as one of the greats. You just can't pretend that the other guy can't touch or hurt you. When he was in his prime, still had speed, defense and the killer instinct, forget about it. Near unbeatable.

Both great fighters .. jardine had his moments with his career but just wasn't consistent,but his heart and work ethic and fearlessness gave some of the upper level a fighters trouble

I was good at Jiu Jitsu and one day in practice I tore my mcl acl and meniscus off the bone. I was never good at jiu jitsu again. It gave me a fear that holds me back. I think thats kind of like taking a loss and getting PTSD from it.

@@JoolianV - How’s he “still good?” He retired 2 years ago on 3-fight losing streak, then went on to get his teeth knocked out by Mike Perry in BKFC. Also lost twice in grappling, getting subbed by a white belt. The only thing he’s done is KO Sleepy Joe Schilling in Karate, which is awesome because Joe is a garbage human. Like I said, Luke was good. After Bisping caught him, he wasn’t. It’s not an insult. It’s a fact. Accept it.
