Helpful tip for gallery wall hanging: get a large roll of brown paper or tracing paper (basically any paper you don't mind ruining). Place it on the floor and align the frames in the way you want. Trace them onto the paper. now take that paper and tape it on the wall where you want your gallery wall. Hammer the nails in while the paper is on the wall. Tear down the paper and hang your frames. Less math, less moving of nails in wrong spots, plus you can put extra paper out for the kids to draw on so they can be helping mommy and daddy.

You can adjust the length of the wires for those wire picture hangers if they are not level! Just add some wire or tie some together to make it shorter. It's a bit of a struggle, but not as bad as redoing the nails

Watching this sitting on my mum's sofa. She decorated her tree this afternoon, but not before i joined her at her house to go through the decorations where I found... Santa Clause with a broken, neck. Yes, I can't have been much older than Luke is now, when I tried to make him play faster by screwing his head as the music box in his stomach played when wound... and... crunch! Since then, obviously, he plays very, very, very, slowly, indeed. O no! Hopefully, there is a doll's hospital somewhere we could send him for repair. We just haven't bothered as he made history. He's 45 years old this year, according to the box.
