The end of this video had me in tears. I pray continually that Jesus Christ will give me the strength to not deny Him and remain as faithful to Him as He has been to me. I have only been a follower of "The Way" for 3 and half years. Imagine then the love Luke and Polycarp must have had for our Messiah, serving Him faithfully for so long. It makes me look forward to growing in my own faith in Christ. I pray God has mercy on me and helps me to endure unto the Last Day. These videos are a blessing to me. Praise God.

I’ve never followed religions. I’ve never heard of Luke (till now) but I had a dream someone I knew kept apologizing to me, and in my dream that person mention I had Saint Luke within me. Now I’m trying to gather as much information. As others have mentioned the ending of this video was rather beautiful. Thank you for the information.

@Dave Rebbettes For some reason l didn't care for Luke or Paul as much as l loved the original 11 disciples; particularly Peter. But after study and prayer l learned to appreciate them so much more now. Luke, the great apologist, writing a defense for the gospel, had to be precise on behalf of the great missionaries of which he was a team member. And you shed more light on the subject. God bless you.

What a book has Luke offered us. His refined style and compassionate to women revealed how blissful was this Greek physician. Each time when I read his gospel, especially the first two chapters, I'm both amazed and deeply touched by Luke, for all these canticles and the compassion of man. What a grace that the foundation of our church was witnessed by this beloved physician, not only to Paul, to every faithful follower of the Lord as well. Thank you for presenting this wonderful introduction to Luke the gospel, God bless you Mr. Rebbettes. Greetings from China.

There is no consensus as of when exactly Paul met Luke and under what circumstances. It looks like they met during one of those Paul beatings when Luke could have taken care of him after believing in Jesus. Luke might have been a physician for a wealthy politician when he decided to join Paul's missionaries right after one of those occasions Paul was beaten in Asia Minor. We can track this by carefully following Luke's writings.

Actually the attribution of the 4 Gospels to Matthew, Mark , Luke and John took place a number of years after they were written. The earliest copies were anonymous as to the authors. There is little evidence to support the given authors.

Nowhere in the gospel “according to Luke” nor acts does the author present himself. This is 2nd century. Definitely not a companion of Paul As well as he used Josephus. Wrongly in places Apologetics is the Lowest form. Trying to keep the faithful flock intact by distorting facts and history
