How To Install a MK4 Golf Armrest

In this weeks video I thought I would start of simple by installing a second hand armrest in my MK4 golf, definitely something that I need being that this car is my daily driver!
I will have some more interesting videos coming up soon but felt this video would help anyone looking to install a mk4 golf armrest.
I try to go into as much detail as possible and create a more "how to" style video.

The junkyard is your friend for cheap parts,buy the bottom piece for cheap & just buy the part that opens brand new leather or cloth option

Have you heard of something else I can bolt on there instead of the arm rest? Like a flat surface or 3-d printed parts?

Cheers! Had to look this up to see, octavia mk1 has the exact same mounting hardware so I can fit a nice leather arm rest to complete the leather interior, because if you search armrest for the mk1 octavia nothing comes up... lol. Nice to know its the same armrest basically :D

It does all the time. So get used to leave the car in first gear when you park the car.
