Seeing your father waving to people on tuk tuk, as if he was greeting the neighbors, I felt that he was very kind and had a feeling of We Are the World! You remind me of the first time I took a train in Florence, they temporarily changed the platform, but it was only broadcast in Italian, a well-meaning couple found that I wasn't leaving, and came back and pulled me to run. I Almost missed the last train! Sometimes in unfamiliar countries, we still need the help of local people! I believe that watching this video with your father in a few years, you will definitely recall this wonderful memory! Thanks for sharing！👍😄👏

Hope you noticed the guy at the snack bar holding his hand with the other when he was giving back the change, was out of respect for the receiver. It was great to watch your past experiences in taking the train in SL. You are such a patient person !!! 😌It was heartening to see your interactions with your dad. You will treasure these moments. It's some nostalgic feeling Im getting while watching this videos. I used to make that route from Dehiwala to Pettah through marine drive daily and did that train ride while Im in uni. Due to the covid and current situation Im stuck at my home in Matara, hence no tuk tuk rides in the roads of colombo and no train rides to Matara anymore 😞

FYI numbers are marked on each compartments. You were sitting in 3rd class good it wasn’t crowded 🤠 Otherwise 3class always crowded. Glad you enjoyed. Upcountry train rides are more scenic for me you should try too 💙

Its so dark in the train at the station. All the area on the train ride looks ok, not much chaos and no dirty area to see. 🤗 Sri Lanka train ride, all look green. Not like the ride from India Mumbai to other nearbye cities.
