Honestly the old board you threw away would be just perfect for me 😂 I skate from time to time on a much worse board with almost no grip but it's still alright at least for riding I guess. Also the 9 stair was gnarly, I know it might not look that crazy on camera but 9 is a lot. Also the bricks surface not sure how smooth or difficult it is to skate on it but you couldn't pick more "nyc kinda style" street spot! So kudos to that. That 9 stair set is difficult to skate cause the landing is downhill. In the air the set feels bigger than it actually is. Also, the bricks are dirty and always slick. Great to see you on a board again.
