It's not hard to tell. With each step away from Trevor being the head coach, Rose's performance has been getting less and less dynamic, her in fight adjustments went from worse to non existent, and her game plans are more and more flawed. Pat is a kickboxer, who was a low IQ fighter, with a ton of brain damage. He does not have a grasp of the full game and how to mix it. And, despite his striking background, the most troubling part, is that Rose's stand up looks worse as Pat has had a bigger role as coach. He is oblivious to how good or bad a round went. He is oblivious to how good or had a fight goes. His corner work is truly terrible. It is by the pure talent of Rose that Pat has gotten this far as a coach. He's not only incompitent, he's dangerous. And Rose is the only person he coaches. There's no other fighters in their stable that he's having success with in high level leagues. That's a red flag in this specific situation.

I dont hugely disagree in a sense. But theres a case she won 3-2. Theres also a compelling case she lost 3-2. I wouldnt die on a hill for either claim. But she is a movement, rangey counter striker. And shes playing to those strenghts. Shes also now moved up a weight class and hits just as hard but is hitting girls who can arguably take more of a strike and keep going. Her fitness is potentially an issue. Im sure she is fit enough, and strong enough. But she appears slower and less dynamic maybe with the move up. And it comes across as lethargic in a sense. Im not saying chubby at all. But she looks fuller everywhere, is there more muscle in there, maybe, but im atleast asking the question could her physical strength be better now having moved up. Possibly. But im gunna push back against her game planning. If anything her fighting plays right into her strength. Manage distance, counter and move. Manage distance, counter and move. Besides not getting taken down, that gameplay was taking her to a win. Besides being better at not getting taken down. What gameplanning could change. Sometimes we just get a figher who is good, but finds a window to be great and does great things for a short period But cannot sustain that and they move back to just being good. She has beaten, the best of the best of the best. Fighting in much the same ways. And thats just the way it is.

The thing about "mock meat" and other vegan specialty products is that in addition to not being healthy, they're completely unnecessary to someone trying/wanting to be vegan. I'm vegan and I buy those types of products once in a blue moon. The actual staples to a vegan diet are all significantly cheaper than the specialty stuff. I started spending a lot less on groceries after going vegan, and I've spoken with a ton of vegans from all over the world, over a number of years, who all found the same. Grains, legumes, vegetables/fruits in season... those are all cheaper than animal flesh and secretions. What I found from talking with nonvegans is that it's not the cost of veganism that's keeping most of them from going vegan; it's just palate pleasure and convenience. So to me, that becomes an ethical conversation to have with people: is palate pleasure/convenience a good reason to exploit and kill other sentient beings?
