Druid II: Enlightenment - Written by David M. Hanlon in 1987, this track is part of the early #chiptune scene and helped shape my musical taste from a young age, thanks to the iconic Fairlight crack intro. ☠️ Now, it's time to introduce it to a new generation with a reimagined version. A big shout-out to Dave and Bacchus for being very approachable.
Here’s the promo/demo, where I play the main theme on a guitar-powered C64. 👾 Hardware used is Ultimate 64 Elite + TeensyROM. The lead on the left channel is MOS Technology 6581 R3 (datecode 2284), and the right channel is 8580 R5 (datecode 1690).
