The mental resilience of this man can only be marveled at. He was incredibly tough. His indomitable spirit and his ability to manage hardship set him apart. Humbling to hear him speak

How openly honest and how courageous is Bill King? Experiencing depth charges under the sea during WW 11 would crack the nerve of any man or bury him under PTSD. This gentleman decides to battle through the demons. Bloody courageous I call him. His feats during the race just shine. Respect for Bill King. Australia

Are you a time traveler from the future? In what year will world war 11 be? We only have had 2 so far, so it is kind of scary to hear that there will be at least 9 more.

Watching this right through I am amazed! Marathon runner, boxer, submarine commander, spiritual seeker after God, and around-the-world sailor comes at the end followed by hang glider pilot at 78!!! Gosh what a life!

I can perfectly understand this old boy's ambition after being cooped up in submarines for years. But skimming is very different...and skimming under sail is even more different still. But thank goodness he survived it. And then not content with all that, then hang gliding. Gosh ! Hats Off !

That is a simple question. Do what ever makes you happy, and don't let anyone push you down.
