@@RobertaBlevins I was just about to comment and give you a shout out! They need to make a part 2 for Mary Kay because oh my gracious 🤦🏻♀️ their makeup sucks, their boss babes are scammers and at least in my area they recruit YOUNG girls who don’t know any better (I got recruited before I graduated high school when I turned 18). Scamming a 40 year old stay at home mom is one thing (still wrong) but scamming young people in low income households is a new level of wrong. Thankfully I realized what it was after my first party where the head “boss babe” kept talking over me and then put me on the spot to spend 600 dollars (which is nothing compared to what some MLMs make you spend, but a lot to a new 18 year old coming from a low income family). Thankfully at that moment I saw it for what it was and was able to back out. There’s no telling how many young girls (I know 18 is a legal adult but still super young. I was still in high school) spent the 600 dollars and then who knows how much else for their “business” to fail.

Why would she want to be on a boat full of people who have been taught to hate her and view her as “one of Gods mistakes”. 3. As many POC people who spend a significant amount of time in majority white spaces will tell you, there’s a lot of underhand racism that goes on. A lot of people seem to think they’re sneaky with their racism when they really aren’t. She probably doesn’t want to put up with that for days on end with no escape. 4. Not just that the whole business structure meant you NEED to keep spending. When you make money based on recruiting (and that's the only way to actually make money) by showing people how successful they can be, you can't just "scale down" since you need to keep presenting that luxury lifestyle. That luxury lifestyle is the product you're selling. And a lot of the company benefits require you to have sold huge amounts of leggings so if you can't make that you just sell them to yourself and they sit in your garage. They'll "give" you a very expensive car for free ... but only for as long as you stay in the higher ranks (again buying your own stuff to make it work) otherwise you need to start making all those expensive car payments yourself. Etc. etc. Point is that it's not as if they all just didn't have financial sense, the company structure really encourages reckless spending :(

I saw the documentary knowing nothing about the business or product. The comment about selling breast milk was taken out of context. People sell breast milk all of the time. If you have it and there is a need for it then the suggestion is not that ridiculous. Perhaps someone mentioned it because they knew there was a need for it and it was available. If I knew someone was lactating and looking for a way to make money then I would see it as a valid suggestion. I also don’t understand how some of these women bragged of getting bonus checks for amounts up to $300,000 and then after a few years had to file bankruptcy. If you were making that kind of money. Why were you in debt? Couldn’t you pay off your start up costs with those big bonus checks? How were you in $100,000 in debt if you were making over $300,000 a year? I definitely saw some problems in the documentary, but I saw some exaggerations as well.

Woah, The Roe is still signing people up? Even after everything we have seen... I guess if you're in the 1% that makes money you wouldn't leave. Personally I hope her husband is the bread winner cause this MLM is about to go ALL the way down in flames now.

I bought the cutest long sleeved black skirt from this company ( too short for the leggings. I got that shirt in like 2016 and I still love it all fall and winter long. I’m sad the quality became bad and money was lost.

I had a friend that sold this. She was smart. She sold long enough to pay off some debit and was out. She never got anyone to join. Lol

I want one on "collagen". Very expensive. Not testing with medically approved drugs. For example I'm on synthetic thyroid (have been for 42 years) and I can't even take a "vitamin pill within 4 hours after taking food or my medication. Also can't drink coffee or eat breakfast for at 1 year after taking my snythroid medication. All that crapping powder for any energy boost gets great airtime from celebrities, influencers on instagram etc. Never has the BUYER BEWARE flag needed more than in this century
@goodjujuu3 жыл бұрын
I wonder if taking Synthroid and others like it is even necessary. I’m on it too, had my thyroid removed. The rules are stupid: -take on an empty stomach -no eating for an hour -eat healthy to avoid weight gain BUT whole grains, soy, cruciferous veggies, walnuts, stop absorption I went a whole week and a half without just to see if I’d die and I didn’t.

You know what the magic secret is to the prosperity and blessings of the LuLaRoe owners and their duped sales force? It 's always kept out of sight and out of mind. It's the women in Third World sweatshops, reportedly in this case in Asia and Central America. That probably means Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka perhaps, and El Salvador and Guatemala. The latter has a popular that has mostly been forced by dictatorships to work for American corporations such as United Fruit. US-funded death squads in these countries slaughtered several hundred thousand people in the 80s. I was a volunteer human rights lawyer and represented a doctor from Guatemala, and my training included studying reports from Amnesty International and other human rights organizations. That is the greatest tragedy of LuLaRoe- the workers toiling in fire-trap sweatshops who are paid a pittance to produce the cheap, disposable clothing that they sold. Those faceless, nameless women will never get a chance to become rich.

Do paparazzi next. It’s a big scam. All the higher ups buy it out so then their “team” buys off them bc they miss out on new releases. It’s insane.

MLMs are a cool way to fool people who are unable to run a business into believing they're running a business.
