Ms Lulu I want to tell you that your an amazing person. You probably do not remember but in 2001 you was singing in Reading Pa. I worked at the hotel you stayed at. I asked you to sign a birthday card for my mother because she loved you so much. You filled out the entire inside of the card for her. She kept that in her safe all her life. She cherished that card so much. Your such a kind lady and I am so blessed to have met you. I'm thrilled your healthier now and I am also hoping to get surgery to loose weight as soon as I get the rest of the funds together. I hope it changes my life as much as it did yours. I always knew there was pain behind that pretty face. I always loved Lulu and still to this day watch my Hee Haw videos. She has always been just beautiful, both inside and out. I am glad for her health's sake, she turned to God for this deliverance, and for healing. She is so inspiring and I love her! God bless ya Lulu!

We all can learn to love ourselves at any size and accept our looks, but we need to love ourselves enough that when we are past healthy weight, to want to do something before health problems creep in, even the fact our bodies are to be temples of the Lord should be reason enough. I want to drop 90. I don't want to settle for higher end range of 120, I want to go for lower end range, 110. I know in the Lord I can do it if I allow Him...

My wife and I have recently rediscovered Hee Haw and enjoy it’s cornball humor, but I especially loved Lulu’s gospel singing on the show, as well as that of the Hee Haw Gospel Quartet. She sang with such real faith and simplicity. I’m happy to hear how God has blessed her, and I find it interesting (in my own life as well) that we are still surprised by what He has planned for us, even when we don’t doubt His love for us.

That is such a wonderful testimony. I remember as a child, watching Lulu on Hee Haw, but never knew how painful her past was. I too can relate to the food becoming your friend (I suffered from severe depression for decades) when no one else wants to be around you. I discovered that God is all you need to live a happy life, even if others reject you. I absolutely love Lulu's gospel albums and hope that she continues helping others with her positive attitude.

As a small autistic child years ago. i didn't understand why people watched, and laughed at the t.v. It seemed every time they laughed, Hee Haw was on. I looked up, and that's when I saw Lulu. I loved her, and began to watch Hee Haw just waiting to see Lulu. I still love her so much.

I just LOVE LULU!! I saw her in the early 80's in Dallas before surgery. She looked amazing, but you could tell she didn't feel amazing! What a testimony to God!
