Losing a cat or dog hurts like hell. Usually, there's somewhat of a guilt complex to go with it all, which makes it feel worse. You loved that cat and loved it for 19 years, I'm sure you have good memories around him or her. I lost my two only pets, two pugs, two years ago and I still feel raw about it.
