@@LanceFullward Emerald and Jade are never near spinning things. While they work around machines all the time, their hair never gets close to things that could hurt them. Currently they don't run a chainsaw. They will need to tie up their hair for that.

AS a tongue in cheek observation, with all that down time for the swamper, hanging around waiting for a few brief moments of work, it might make sense to place the fletching machine closer so that offcuts could be serviced right away, instead of at the end of the day. Also, if there is time left over, perhaps a firewood processor could be brought nearer to allow the swamper to deal with the off cuts that don't get fletched.

This will be good! And I think it’s a smart idea to have at least two of you proficient on that machine. Always have backups and depth to your lineup even if normal setup is dedicated operator/swamper. I’ll guess Jade will be much slower because she doesn’t have the time on it you do yet, but Em, dang! Jade stacks way neater than you! 😂
